CID to question RGV, Sridevi ?
Bhanu Kiran, Ram Gopal Varma, Rakta Charitra, Suri Murder Case, Suri Alias Maddelacheruvu Surya Narayana Reddy, Paritala Ravi, RGV, CID, CID to Question

The CID has decided to form special teams to grill film personalities, industrialists and realtors who are named by gangster Bhanu Kiran in his confession statement.

Director Ram Gopal Varma and Teja, film producers C. Kalyan, Singanamala Ramesh and Sivaramakrishna were named by Bhanu in his confession, also named celebrity Sridevi, the daughter of ex-secretary of Andhra Cricket Association N. Venkat Rao.

But this is exactly what is about to happen. According to reports, the Andhra Pradesh detective department is set to scrutinise RGV for his alleged connections with the underworld.

In his confession statement, Bhanu Kiran said that under Maddelacheruvu Suri and Ram Gopal Varma, he took the reels of Rakta Charitra-2 from the colour lab belonging to Kalyan and Ramesh from Hyderabad to Bengaluru.

It is rumoured that criminal Bhanu Kiran financed Varma’s brutally violent 2010 movie ‘Rakht Charitra’, which was based on political killings. Bhanu Kiran was the prime suspect in the murder of  gangster Suryanarayan Reddy aka Suri. ‘Rakht Charitra’ was loosely based on Rayalaseema crime and on Paritala Ravi of the Telugu Desam Party.

Ram Gopal Varma is said to come under the police scanner for the same. Though, it is not the first time that police has had a problem with the movie. The movie’s producer, C Kalyan, had also been interrogated last year over some issues.
